This comprehensive 2009 revision of the Pre-Hospital Treatment Protocols for the District of Columbia Fire and EMS Department is being circulated for review and comment by any interested stakeholder. This document is a draft only, and is not to be utilized to guide the delivery of pre-hospital medical care until the review, revision and acceptance process is completed. This revision of the Protocols represents the consolidation of medical procedures and emergency pre-hospital guidelines and publications from many local and national sources.
