This comprehensive 2010 revision of the Pre-Hospital Treatment Protocols for the District of Columbia Fire & EMS Department becomes fully effective on April 15, 2010. This revision of the Protocols received input and review from a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders. It represents a consolidation of best practices, evidence-based medicine, medical procedures, and emergency pre-hospital guidelines from many local and national sources.
